Connecting a car to Home Assistant involves several moving parts. Alongside vehicle data and commands, there is the sign-in process. For the Stellantis Vehicles integration, that step can run on your own hardware.

The Stellantis Login Worker runs the browser login on your own Home Assistant host. It removes the need for a shared, externally hosted login helper for that step.

A deliberately small responsibility.

The main Stellantis Vehicles integration still supplies entities, vehicle data and commands. The worker only handles browser sign-in. It does not replace the vehicle integration or make the car independent of Stellantis services.

The default configuration does not publish a host port. Your email and password are submitted to your own worker, which contacts Stellantis. Vehicle data and token renewal still depend on the manufacturer’s services.

Be clear about what has been tested.

The project is a release candidate. Native amd64 and aarch64 builds, including Chromium startup, are documented. The project's test record documents one real MyPeugeot login with a source-built amd64 candidate and a locally patched version of the vehicle integration. A real aarch64 login, restart recovery and long-term token renewal are not yet fully verified.

A successful build does not prove every combination of vehicle, account and hardware will work. The documented test scope is part of the project’s description.

Built on existing work.

The project is based on Kilian Taubmann’s MIT-licensed StellantisHAAddon and preserves its original licence and copyright notices. The documentation separates the local login, vehicle integration and external manufacturer services.

The project website covers installation and troubleshooting. Read the notes about compatible integration versions and the local helper address before setting it up.
